Avocado Halves with Bolognaise Topping recipe by Darren Longthorne

Avocados- well what can I say. High in fats yes but the good type and they are a really tasty food which you can make really tasty meals with. Sliced avocado in a salad or in a club sandwich with your favourite dressing for example. You can of course make the traditional tasty guacamole recipe. Or why not try giving this to your kids:

Serves: 8
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

4 avocados cut in half and pip removed
1 jar bolognaise sauce
1/2 cup low fat mozzarella cheese

Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of warmed, bolognaise sauce in the cavity of each avocado. Sprinkle grated low fat mozzarella cheese on top. Cook under a hot grill until the cheese is a golden brown colour
Note: Pre homemade bolognaise sauce can be used

REMEMBER Avocados are packed with vitamins and minerals so are really healthy to give not just to your kids. So become an AVOCADO ADDICT! Your life will never be the same again!
